Dafne Baldoví is an architect and ceramist based in Valencia, working from her self-designed home studio called Clay House.
After several years in architecture, Dafne embarked on a journey to explore her artistic expression, leading her to discover ceramics. Drawn to this craft, she trained under esteemed national and international masters who became her inspiration and mentors.
Nature and tradition are Dafne Baldoví’s primary sources of inspiration. Her work is infused with the Japanese wabi-sabi culture, seeking essence and balance in every piece. Subtlety, elegance, and authenticity define her artistic identity. Dafne does not impose a specific form on her creations; instead, she allows each piece to come to life, embracing imperfections and aiming for spontaneous results that reflect the unique intention behind every movement of her hands.
In each collection, Dafne employs a distinct technique, exploring her own glazes that complement and characterize each creation.
